Job Description

Accountant Job Description:

  • Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports.
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses.
  • Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems.
  • Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.
  • Advise management on financial decisions and strategic planning.
  • Conduct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
  • Review financial reports for ways to reduce costs.
  • Work closely with the accounting and finance team to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accountant should have:

  • A CPA designation (mandatory).
  • Willing to work full onsite
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong exposure in FMCG or commercial companies, handling high-volume transactions.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus.
