About Our Client

My Client is an energy technology company who provides energy monitoring and energy efficiency technology to commercial and government bodies in the Manila, Philippines. My Client's existing customers include Meralco and Aboitiz, commercial and residential customers, as well as the building and construction industry.

Job Description

  • The Accounts Manager will be tasked to develop strong relationships with distributors, customers and relevant government partners.
  • Connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports.
  • Liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including key stakeholders, Customer Service and Product Development departments) to improve the entire customer experience.
  • This position may require occasional travel
  • Build and Manage a portfolio of existing and national sales and distribution partnerships and direct accounts to build long term sales revenue
  • Prepare and implement sales contracts, agreements, and strategies
  • Supervise distributors/account representatives to ensure sales increase
  • Ensure sales target are met
  • Prepare and monitor sales metrics and regular reports aligned with company objectives (e.g. monthly, quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Suggest actions to improve sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to clients in a timely manner

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Manager or Key National Account Manager in electrical equipment sales and/or electronics, software and systems sales
  • Experience with Energy Distribution
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • Minimum 8 (eight) years of experience in the same field is required for this position
  • BSc degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or relevant field
  • Must be willing to travel, if required
