The client is a multinational retail company involved in the manufacturing of footwear, apparel, and accessories. They are based in Makati City.
Job Description
The Accounts Payable Accountant - Retail Industry will be responsible for:
- managing the entire accounts payable function including the disbursements process
- preparing monthly and quarterly tax returns and ensuring that invoices are in compliance with BIR
- supporting month end closing activities (i.e. posting entries and performing reconciliations)
- billing and collection of wholesale accounts
The Successful Applicant
The successful Accounts Payable Accountant - Retail Industry is/has:
- at least 4 years experience in general accounting and taxation
- graduate of accountancy, CPA is a plus
- must have strong background in Philippine taxation/compliance
- SAP experience is a plus
