The Assistant Marketing Manager's main responsibilities revolve around all product- related matters such as promotions, launches, product plans, forecasting, marketing calendar, product training and eCommerce. The Assistant Marketing Manager will also work closely with the Communications Manager to as in overall company communications, internal & external, and other initiatives within Public Relations, advertising and events.

The Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Marketing Manager are:



  • Strategic Product Management
    • Collaborate on product strategy, pricing, forecasting, and SKU management. Ensure promotion feasibility and support execution.


  • Forecast Accuracy & Inventory Risk Mitigation
    • Continuously improve forecasting and minimize over/under inventory risks. Provide actionable recommendations and manage overstock solutions.


  • Market Analysis & Research
    • Conduct market analysis using internal/external data, FGDs, and competitor studies. Develop regional and local business plans.


  • Training & Product Knowledge Development
    • Create and roll out product knowledge modules in coordination with regional partners. Oversee training content, including videos and online modules.


  • Editorial & Communication Oversight
    • Lead the editorial plan, internal/external communication, and materials development (e.g., presentations, newsletters).


  • Crisis Communication
    • Identify potential crises and develop official statements in collaboration with leadership.


  • Public Relations & Advertising Management
    • Lead Public Relations, advertising efforts, and marketing events such as tie-ups, sponsorships, CSR, and consumer contests to strengthen brand identity.


  • Budget & Vendor Management
    • Manage marketing projects within budget and set guidelines for design, printing, and online presence.



The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the Assistant Marketing Manager post:

Must have at least 3 years of experience in retail marketing or direct selling. Best to have experience in handling personal care or beauty products.

Strong marketing individual looking for a product and brand- centric role.
