The role requires exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

As part of their aggressive growth plans in Philippines, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to be based in Manila.

Job Description

  • Work on the development and pipeline projects of each customer and advise customers'
  • needs on their current requirements and future projects
  • Able to contact and expand the market, and sales of PP & PE
  • Develop skills in collecting market information and competitive competitor's product
  • Preparing sales forecasts, and constantly monitoring inventory levels held at warehouses to ensure supply timelines from suppliers
  • Manage the prioritization work flow from customers for customer service, technical requests,
  • development projects, customer complaints and related tasks
  • Provide solution selling methodology and communicate the value proposition of the company and
  • offering
  • Provide market intelligence by being the eyes and ears of the Company and provide information
  • to help in value pricing and selling
  • Conduct sales presentations for new and existing customers, both at customer sites and
  • Company locations as necessary
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts;
  • integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

The Successful Applicant

Degree qualifications in business administration, marketing or relevant studies with relevant years of experience in similar capacity. Successful previous experience as a sales representative and business development, consistently meeting or exceeding target is important.

The person must demonstrate excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines and goals, set and allocate priorities. He/She must be highly motivated and self-driven for results with minimum supervision required. Strong industry expertise and knowledge is a must along with being proactive, organised and ability to handle work professionally. He/She must possess exceptional communication and presentation skills in English, both written and verbal, to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
