This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and leading a team to exceed targets.Job DescriptionThe Business Development Manager is responsible for:Sales Strategy Implementation:Execute sales plans to meet revenue and market share targets within the area.Align local sales activities with national strategy and monitor market trends.Team Leadership:Lead, motivate, and develop the area sales team to achieve targets.Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.Distributor & Retailer Management:Build and maintain relationships with key distributors and retailers.Negotiate pricing, promotional terms, and ensure product visibility.Sales Performance:Track sales performance and ensure monthly/quarterly targets are met.Implement corrective actions where sales goals are not achieved.Customer Relationship Management:Develop relationships with key clients and resolve customer issues quickly.Drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.Market Insights & Reporting:Monitor market conditions and competitor activities.Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.Promotions & Marketing Support:Collaborate with marketing on regional promotions and product launches.Ensure successful implementation of campaigns and track effectiveness.Inventory & Distribution:Ensure timely product delivery and optimal inventory levels with logistics teams.Monitor stock levels and coordinate with distributors for timely replenishment.The Successful ApplicantThe Business Development Manager has:Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
