About Our Client

Our client is a company that specializes in the development and manufacturing of pipe connectors for industrial applications specifically in mining. Their products are also used in a variety of industries, including water, oil and gas, and fire protection.

Job Description

  • Develop and achieve maximum specifications and conversion of those specifications within the responsible assigned territory.
  • Advise and assist customers in areas such as product selection, service and engineering solutions.
  • Maximise opportunities by effectively planning and scheduling time management.
  • Training of customers through "hands on" meetings, presentations and demonstration.
  • Investigate, evaluate and resolve complaints according to the company's code of conduct.
  • Advise management on matters such as market conditions, competitive situations, product requirements, project pricing etc.
  • Maintain and update Siebel (internal project / account management database) on a regular basis (daily / weekly).
  • Reports directly to the National Mining Manager

The Successful Applicant

The Buisness Developmenet Manager is expected :

  • A qualified technical / mechanical trade's person with a piping background (preferred but not essential) engineer (preferably in mechanical engineering) or a qualified professional sales person with
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Computer literacy skills are necessary (Word, Excel, and PP ETC).
  • A current driver's licence is mandatory.
