Business Finance Strategy / Chief of Staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Strategy & Financial Analysis:
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies and business metrics to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Lead financial modeling efforts to assess business performance and forecast future growth.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to define and track KPIs for ongoing business initiatives.
  • Assist with strategic decision-making by providing in-depth analysis of market trends, competition, and financial data.
• Investor Relations:
  • Support the company's efforts during the Series C funding round by preparing financial documents, presentations, and communications for investors.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external investors, ensuring clear and effective communication of business strategy, performance, and growth potential.
• Commercial & Corporate Banking Expertise:
  • Leverage experience from investment/corporate banking to provide valuable insights into business and financial strategies.
  • Understand market conditions and competitor dynamics in global financial services to optimize strategic decisions.
• Investment Banking Support:
  • Utilize your investment banking background (e.g., associate, intern) to support M&A activities, capital raising, and other strategic transactions.
  • Analyze investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and present findings to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Educational Background:
  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Professional Experience:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking, or financial services
  • Proven experience in business strategy, financial modeling, and investor relations, particularly in high-growth or startup environments.
  • Exposure to the technology or financial technology sector is an advantage.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in financial modeling and proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of business metrics, corporate finance, and capital markets.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with investors and corporate partners.
