Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership & Business Growth:

  • Develop and execute the business unit strategy to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
  • Identify growth opportunities, new market segments, and innovative commercial strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (medical, regulatory, market access) to optimize brand performance.
  • Drive digital transformation and omnichannel marketing initiatives to enhance customer engagement.



Sales & Marketing Management:

  • Lead the sales and marketing strategy for the Cardio-Metabolic & Diabetes or Orthopedic portfolio.
  • Ensure effective brand positioning, customer engagement, and sales force effectiveness.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee product launches, promotional campaigns, and strategic partnerships.



People Leadership & Team Development:

  • Manage a team of 50 HC, including 6 Sales Managers and 2 Product Managers.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to develop high-performing teams.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven work culture.



Financial & Budget Management:

  • Manage the business unit's P&L, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Optimize resource allocation, budget utilization, and sales forecasting.
  • Drive cost efficiency while maintaining business growth.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong background in sales and marketing.
  • Proven leadership experience in Cardio-Metabolic & Diabetes or Orthopedic therapy areas.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, people management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
