Job Description

  • Develop and implement category strategies to optimize product assortment and maximize profitability in alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment and minimizing stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Work closely with the procurement and supply chain teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and maintain strong supplier relationships to support long-term business objectives.
  • Prepare reports and provide insights on category performance to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all category management activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Category Manager should have:
