This is a CFO (Lending), founder‑track leadership role that will build and lead the underwriting, credit policy, and developer financing engine of a new sector‑finance initiative. The position offers the opportunity to design lending frameworks, shape investment strategy, and drive early deal execution in a rapidly growing sustainability sector.

Job Description

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and profitability in the Energy & Natural Resources sector.
  • Provide leadership in capital structure management, including fundraising and investment strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify new business opportunities and evaluate potential ventures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting standards.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives and enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team within the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful CFO (Lending) should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with professional certifications being a plus.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Proven experience in the Financial Services industry or similar sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex financial operations.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to support business growth.
  • In-depth knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
