Our client looking for a CFO is a leading global company specializing in payment processing technology, including electronic fund transfers, e-payments, and real-time remittances. With headquarters in the US and significant operations in some parts of Asia, the organization has a strong and growing presence in the Philippines, having established its market presence in 2019. The company is known for its technological innovation and its commitment to expanding its footprint and capabilities.

The organization operates on a B2B model, partnering with major banks and fintechs, and invests heavily in its business to drive growth. Office is located in Makati.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy and Leadership:
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to improve payment processing capabilities and support business growth.
    • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Operational Management:
    • Manage the finance team and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
    • Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
  • Investment and Growth:
    • Drive investment initiatives and handle financial aspects of business expansion and new opportunities.
    • Support goals to increase market size and operational volume in the Philippines.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain relationships with major banks, fintechs, and local municipalities to enhance payment services and community outreach.

The Successful Applicant



The CFO candidate for this role would have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in finance leadership roles, ideally in tech or payment processing industries.
  • Proven experience in strategic financial planning, investment management, and operational oversight.
  • Strong track record of managing large teams and engaging with international stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards.
  • Exposure in banking industry is a plus.
  • Ability to drive growth and manage financial operations in a dynamic, tech-driven environment.
