The Channel Sales Manager for General Trade will play a critical role in driving growth and achieving sales targets across the retail and food service channels. This individual will be responsible for managing distributor partnerships, monitoring channel performance, and developing strategic solutions to capitalize on customer and market trends.

Job Description

Sales Growth & Target Achievement

  • Drive sales growth in the assigned General Trade channel for both retail and food service sectors.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets by implementing strategic channel initiatives.



Distributor Management

  • Build and strengthen business relationships with key distributors to ensure alignment and engagement.
  • Drive the distributor sales team to achieve targets, improve coverage, and optimize overall performance.



Market Monitoring & Trend Analysis

  • Track and monitor customer and channel trends to identify opportunities and address challenges.
  • Develop data-driven solutions to improve sales performance and capitalize on emerging market opportunities.



Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Provide leadership and coaching to distributor sales teams to improve productivity and results.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of FMCG sales experience, with at least 5 years in General Trade.
  • Strong background in the food industry is ideal.
  • Must be able to work with a lean team as an individual contributor, dotted line to managing the sales team of the distributors
  • Proven experience in managing and driving the performance of distributor sales teams.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be amenable to working in the Quezon City office.
  • Willing to travel within the region for distributor management and market visits.
