Job Description

  • Develop and implement risk management frameworks and policies for the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitor and report on the organization's risk exposure and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate risk management into business processes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Risk & Compliance team.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including regulators and auditors, to ensure transparency and compliance.
  • Prepare and present risk reports to senior management and the board of directors.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Chief Risk Officer should have:

  • A strong academic background in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of risk management principles and practices.
  • Proven expertise in the financial services industry.
  • Experience in handling regulatory compliance and working with industry standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to lead a team effectively.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to assess and mitigate risks effectively.
