An established digital bank from the Netherlands has established their Shared Service Center here in Manila and is looking to expand their team to deliver various solutions.

Job Description

  • Develop, test and deploy platform features defined by the Product Manager
  • Build deployment and test pipelines for Infrastructure as Code environments


  • Draft effective and applicable technical solutions that fit business needs and requirements
  • Provide technical consultation on applications and platforms to other engineering and public cloud teams
  • Manage, maintain, update, and upgrade applications and platforms
  • Can work independently and act as an SME, being proactive in defining areas of improvement
  • Continuous collaboration with senior leaders in the organization
  • Analyze and troubleshoot incidents and resolve in a timely manner


  • Work with the Product Manager and fellow Public Cloud Engineers in prioritizing backlog and deliverables
  • Participate in risk assessments and mitigating activities as needed
  • Create and assist in the documentation of solutions

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 6 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Public Cloud Services (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Experience with Public Cloud networking services (Application Gateways, Firewalls, VNet/VPC, Frontend services)
  • Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD
  • Experience in creating CI/CD Pipelines, Scripting, and Automation (Azure DevOps, Github)
  • Hands-on coding experience (Python, Bash, Golang)
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Experience in CDN services (Cloudflare, Akamai)
  • Experience in working with Linux-based Operating Systems (Debian based)
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (VPN, BGP, MPLS, DNS)
  • Experience in containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong Foundation in designing network security concepts
  • Basic understanding of Cloud Security and Governance
