Job Description

1. Commercial Strategy & Execution:



  • Develop and implement commercial excellence frameworks, processes, and tools to optimize sales and marketing performance.


  • Lead go-to-market (GTM) strategy development, including segmentation, targeting, and customer engagement initiatives.


  • Partner with business units to drive data-driven decision-making and commercial execution improvements.



2. Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) & Performance Management:



  • Define and oversee KPIs, incentive plans, and productivity metrics for the commercial teams.


  • Implement CRM solutions, sales analytics, and reporting dashboards to enhance field force effectiveness.


  • Conduct regular business performance reviews and provide insights to senior leadership.



3. Digital & Omnichannel Commercial Transformation:



  • Drive digital and omnichannel engagement strategies to enhance HCP interaction and market penetration.


  • Leverage AI, data analytics, and automation tools to optimize customer experience and sales execution.


  • Collaborate with IT and Marketing teams to implement best-in-class digital solutions.



4. Training & Capability Development:



  • Develop and execute commercial training programs for sales and marketing teams.


  • Implement learning and development initiatives to enhance commercial capabilities.


  • Drive a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and commercial excellence.



5. Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration:



  • Act as a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, Finance, Medical, and Market Access teams.


  • Align commercial excellence strategies with regional and global directives.


  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.

The Successful Applicant

15+ years of experience in Commercial Excellence, Sales Force Effectiveness, or Commercial Operations within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
✅ Strong background in sales analytics, CRM implementation, incentive design, and performance management.
✅ Proven expertise in go-to-market (GTM) strategy, omnichannel engagement, and digital transformation.
✅ Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving commercial strategy execution.
✅ Excellent data analytics, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
✅ Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication abilities.
✅ Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within the pharmaceutical industry.
