Job Description

  • Manage all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Serve as the point of contact for the client (e.g., Philippine Navy, NAVFAC, or foreign-funded entities) and ensure effective stakeholder coordination
  • Supervise on-site teams to ensure adherence to project plans and timelines.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to address project requirements and resolve challenges.
  • Monitor project budgets and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
  • Enforce compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to key stakeholders.
  • Review and approve construction schedules, plans, and contracts.
  • Ensure quality control measures are consistently applied throughout the project.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Manager should have:

  • Minimum of 15 years in construction management, with at least 2 years on naval or military facility projects in the Philippines or under foreign funding (e.g., USAID, NAVFAC, JICA, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A commitment to safety and quality standards.
