Job Description

  • Oversees the recruitment, orientation, and performance of the Senior Management Team and their development, demonstrating healthy engagement, strong management teams, culture innovation, and effective talent management.
  • Strengthens the financial sustainability of programs and operations through a vibrant Country Organizational Development Plan (ODP) aligned with the Global ODP, striking healthy financial rations, and effective budget administration and compliance with statutory regulations in the Philippines.
  • Leads and oversees the country's grants acquisition and management efforts, ensuring the long-term sustainability of the portfolio and achievement of annual targets, including sponsorship services and its integration with programs
  • Oversees program quality in the country, ensuring quality execution of program strategy that integrates child protection, disaster risk reduction, and an effective humanitarian response, including security framework promptly and the completion of the MEAL processes.
  • Leads and takes all appropriate action to ensure the promotion and enforcement of the Safeguarding and Ethics-based policies (including child safeguarding and follows up on any findings to address gaps or weaknesses given the uniqueness of the local operating context and best practices.
  • Represents externally, including legal representation, and develops reputation and brand-based partnerships and networking with government agencies, donors, media, and peer-INGOs to pre-position, advocate and raise profile and reputation among critical influencers to advance children's rights and well-being.
  • Provides leadership in developing transformative initiatives to enable continuous evolution of programs and delivery modes and incentivize innovation and action-research development.
  • Leads the management of an ongoing change process (business case on restructuring).
  • Act as the Security and Safety Committee Chair and manages the day-to-day operations of the People and Culture Unit.


The Successful Applicant

  • 8-10 years of background in leading a non-profit organization
  • Willing to be based in Bicol, one week per month
  • Preferably with fundraising expertise
  • Can create humanitarian programs
  • Can lead at least 40 people
