Job Description

Crew Planning & Deployment

  • Develop and execute effective crew planning strategies to ensure timely and cost‑efficient manning of all vessels.
  • Oversee crew rotations, relief planning, and contract management to meet operational schedules.
  • Ensure optimal crew utilization while minimizing overtime, travel costs, and off‑hire risks.

Crew Performance & Development

  • Implement performance evaluation systems for seafarers.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate career development and succession planning for officers.
  • Support leadership development and promotion pathways within the fleet.

Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with principals.
  • Provide regular crewing reports, analytics, and forecasts to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5-10 years of progressive experience in crewing or maritime HR, with leadership responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and industry best practices.
  • High attention to detail and compliance orientation
  • Effective communication across multicultural environments
