Job Description

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines across GCP and AWS.
  • Optimise ETL/ELT processes for diverse data types.
  • Develop data models that support fast, accurate reporting.
  • Integrate data from APIs, databases, cloud storage, and third‑party sources.
  • Ensure high standards of data quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with BI, Analytics, and Engineering teams.
  • Maintain strong data security and governance practices.
  • Monitor pipelines and resolve issues proactively.
  • Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Data Engineer should have:

    • 5+ years' experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines across GCP and AWS.
    • Strong SQL proficiency and solid data‑modelling expertise.
    • Skilled in building both batch and streaming pipelines with high reliability.
    • Detail‑oriented, analytical, and committed to ensuring data quality and performance.
    • Collaborative team player who works effectively with BI, analytics, and product teams.
    • Bonus strengths: Python, orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow), and BI/reporting platform support.
