About Our Client

The client is a prominent and influential company in the oil and gas sector that has decided to establish its Shared Service Center in the Philippines to support its regional operations.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks).
  • Organize and manage data pipeline outputs with Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Blob Storage.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and architects to deliver data solutions.
  • Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through validation techniques.
  • Document data processes, configurations, and best practices.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline issues.
  • Manage the CI/CD process for data solutions deployment.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles, with strong experience in ETL processes.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Blob Storage, and Data Lake.
  • Proficient in SQL (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) for efficient querying.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering principles (CI/CD, version control, testing).
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark) and Python (preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
