Job Description

  • Transform raw data into meaningful information, derives insights, and supports strategic business decisions.
  • Responsibilities encompass the full data analysis lifecycle, including gathering requirements, performing activities, and designing analytical solutions.
  • Data Scientists also develop robust reporting and analytical tools, while continuously monitoring performance and implementing quality control measures to identify opportunities for improvement.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Data Scientist should have:

  • At least 2 to 5 years experience in data science / analysis and reporting structuring (e.g. dashboards); at equivalent position, Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
  • A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Excel, PowerPivot, PowerBI, etc), databases (SQL, etc), Python programming (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, scikit-learn, JupyterLab) and ETL frameworks.
  • Strong science and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • An understanding of the financial services industry is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team in the science department.
