Job Description

  • Lead the commercial strategy for all DTC stores to achieve revenue, profitability, and KPI targets.
  • Oversee daily store operations to ensure brand standards, service excellence, and compliance across all touchpoints.
  • Develop and execute merchandising, product launch, and promotional strategies aligned with business priorities and consumer insights.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and store visits to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Build the capability of store leaders and frontliners through coaching, performance feedback, and development plans.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Marketing, VM, Merchandising, Logistics) to deliver seamless activations, peak periods, and retail campaigns.
  • Strengthen consumer retention by driving loyalty, membership, and omnichannel initiatives within DTC stores.
  • Support new store openings and expansion projects, ensuring operational readiness and aligned retail execution.
  • Use data and retail metrics to guide decision‑making, optimize productivity, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Champion continuous improvement by establishing best practices, enhancing ways of working, and streamlining retail processes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in retail leadership, preferably in sporting goods, footwear, apparel, or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in managing store KPIs, profitability, and operational performance.
  • Excellent people leadership skills with the ability to coach, influence, and build strong store teams.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to navigate operational challenges in a fast‑moving retail environment.
  • High proficiency in analyzing retail data and using performance tools to support business decisions.
