The Director for People Operations will be responsible for the overall management of the department and the creation of a healthy work environment for our employees and achieve a holistic employee experience and satisfaction. The role will ensure that everyone works to realize the client's established vision and objectives while promoting our core values and shaping a positive culture.

Job Description

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Provide input, execute and drive a people strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the People Operations team, ensuring a high-performing and collaborative environment.
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic HR guidance and support business decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of HR trends and best practices, implementing innovative solutions to improve the employee experience.
  • Design, review, and/or monitor local people-related policies, processes, and other initiatives aligned with employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, and cultural development activities.
  • Ensure responsive People services are provided to diverse business verticals including, seat leasing, EOR, and managed services, and proactively identify scalable / process improvement solutions.
  • Drive performance management reviews, providing guidance, advice, and training to managers on managing performance issues at all levels by implementing relevant retention strategies and identifying learning and development needs for business units and individual coaching needs.



Human Resources:

  • Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage HR technology systems and processes.



Employee Engagement:

  • Design and implement programs and initiatives to drive employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that reflects our core values.
  • Develop and manage internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and connected.
  • Conduct regular employee surveys and implement action plans based on feedback.



Compensation & Benefits:

  • Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
  • Benchmark compensation packages against industry standards.
  • Manage employee benefits vendors and ensure efficient program administration.
  • Stay informed of regulatory changes impacting compensation and benefits.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong and proven People Operations in a Boutique BPO setting is an ideal, ability to unlearn and apply new
  • People Operations framework to the HR Department. A leader with strong cross-department communication, ability to negotiate with vendors, and a cosmopolitan outlook.
  • Possesses deep expertise in the ability to validate and audit HR Policy & Process, compensation and benefits design, and redesign.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful compensation and benefits programs.
  • Highly analytical and able to present data intelligence for HR, including new ways of working data within a hybrid working model, and developing business values for external clients.
  • Outcome-driven customer-centric mindset, ability to develop facilities outside Metro Manila.
  • Has the ability to multi-task and complete numerous tasks within deadlines. Focused on business execution and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Strong collaborator with effective interpersonal and analytical skills who can work seamlessly across countries, cultures, and organizational units.
  • Demonstrated ability to work, manage, and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and on deadline; aptitude for problem-solving and decision-making needed.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills are required. Capable of managing conflict and conflicting views.
  • Strong knowledge and command over HR management software (HRIS)
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field is required; a master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 6 years of experience in human resources management
  • Certification in human resource management (SPHR, GPHR, CIPD or other HR professional certification) is a plus.
