Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help to develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy alongside key leadership, while actively participating in hands-on recruiting to fill key positions.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates directly, particularly for high-impact or senior-level roles, using various channels to find top talent.
  • Lead and mentor a team of talent acquisition professionals, providing guidance on best practices and supporting their development.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and drive recruitment initiatives to support business objectives.
  • Design and manage scalable recruitment processes that prioritize a positive candidate experience and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and promote employer branding efforts in collaboration with marketing and HR, showcasing company culture, values, and career opportunities.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion within the recruitment process, ensuring diverse talent pipelines and implementing inclusive hiring practices.
  • Use data and recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition activities, identifying opportunities for improvement and making data-driven decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies, networks, and other talent sources as needed.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging recruitment technologies, and best practices, continuously improving talent acquisition strategies and processes.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM, SPHR) is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a senior or director-level role; demonstrated experience as a hands-on recruiter is essential.
  • Proven success in full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles, with an emphasis on senior or niche positions.
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition best practices, including candidate sourcing, interview techniques, and employer branding.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion with experience implementing inclusive recruiting strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and other sourcing tools.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret recruitment metrics and optimize hiring processes based on data.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
