Job Description



  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and create professional development plans for team members.


  • Project Management:
    • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.


  • Technical Guidance:
    • Provide technical direction and leadership in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications.
    • Ensure the team adheres to best practices in coding, testing, and software architecture.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and incorporate them into the development process where appropriate.


  • Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and maintain robust quality assurance processes, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
    • Ensure the team delivers reliable, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.


  • Strategic Planning:
    • Contribute to the strategic planning of technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals.
    • Identify and address potential risks and technical challenges proactively.


  • Resource Management:
    • Manage team resources effectively, including recruitment, task allocation, and workload balancing.
    • Monitor and manage team productivity, performance, and morale.



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing software development teams.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
  • Focused on maintenance with minor development work.
  • Extensive experience in AWS, JavaScript, and Java of any version or framework.
  • Willing to do full onsite for the first 6 months in the Pasay office.
  • Willing to work in a mid or night shift schedule as you will be supporting the European time zone.
