Our client is a manufacturing and production and exporter for food and flavor such as frozen seafood, fruits and vegetables, seasoning mixes, extracts, and preserves among others. They're upcoming and looking into growing the business further.
Job Description
The Export Sales manager is expected to :
- Handle all marketing and sales of products for export
- Research and create a strategy to saturate all relevant export markets
- Prepare for launching of new brands into the export market
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve company targets
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and distributors
- Manage the sales process from lead generation to close
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of products
- Keep abreast of industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance
The Successful Applicant
The Export Sales manager has :
- 5+ years of experience in export sales
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Would ideally have worked for a food exporter
