The client is a UK-based marketing company growing their team in Davao city.

Job Description

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports and present insights to support strategic business decisions.
  • Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and risk management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and insights.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff to enhance team performance and skill development.
  • Support external audits and manage relationships with auditors and financial institutions.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA required.
  • At least 8 years of experience in finance, accounting, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools for reporting and analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and collaborate across departments.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Amenable to working onsite in Davao City.
