Job Description

The responsibilities of the Finance Manager are as follows:

  • Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting regulations, and coordinate with external auditors to support audit processes.
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger while providing accounting guidance to other Shared Services teams such as P2P and R2R.
  • Conduct variance analysis, track financial performance, and collaborate with FP&A and other finance teams to ensure alignment and accuracy.
  • Manage compliance and regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring all submissions are accurate and timely.
  • Oversee financial control processes, monitor adherence to the Risk and Control Matrix (RACM), and conduct governance reviews.
  • Identify, report, and proactively address financial control gaps or risks to maintain operational integrity.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide strategic support to key stakeholders across the organization.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • CPA certification required.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in Controllership, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
  • Experience in the BPO or shared services industry is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of financial control processes and IFRS standards.
  • Proficient in ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP, along with finance consolidation tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with leaders and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in managing performance through SLA, KPI, and performance management frameworks, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
