The Finance Manager is to be the second-in-command to the company's Country Director, leading the day to day operations of the finance department with strong knowledge in compliance and billing processes in relation to shipment treatment.

Job Description

  • Lead end to end finance operations such as budgeting, month-end closing processes, and treasury management, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations in the freight forwarding space
  • Support decision-making by providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Ensure the finance department adheres to best practices and maintains high standards of accuracy and efficiency

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate has:

  • CPA license
  • At least 7 years of finance and managerial experience within the logistics industry or related industries such as manufacturing, FMCG, or oil and gas
  • Strong understanding of compliance, laws, and legal regulations related to freight and cargo
  • Experience with payroll management or processing is a plus
  • Familiarity with SunSystem and Cargowise software is nice to have
