Job Description

  • Prepare budgets, conduct forecasts, and perform variance analyses to support financial planning.
  • Oversee accounting activities and ensure accurate financial reporting for assigned business lines.
  • Act as a strategic business partner for designated business units, providing financial insights and support.
  • Deliver head-office management reports, ensuring alignment with corporate requirements.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting processes.
  • Identify financial and accounting issues, recommending effective and timely solutions.
  • Contribute to the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial outcomes.
  • Continuously seek process improvements and efficiency gains across financial operations.
  • Advise stakeholders on financial controls to meet revenue and profitability goals

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field - 10 or more years of relevant experience in the field
  • Proven financial leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
  • Sound knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership and influencing abilities.
