Job Description

Job Description:

  • Ensure compliance with group accounting policies for month-end closing.
  • Perform in-depth legal entity review of financial statements.
  • Provide accurate, fact-based, and action-oriented performance reporting.
  • Resolve complex accounting issues and ensure proper accounting treatment.
  • Serve as the point of contact for the Regional CFO.
  • Drive pre-close meetings to identify and address issues.
  • Perform thorough balance sheet controlling.
  • Consult business controllers on specific judgments around accruals and intercompany transactions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance, business management, or related area.
  • Must have substantial controlling experience involving either European or U.S. markets, such as legal‑entity reviews, reporting cycles, stakeholder management, or financial‑controlling responsibilities for regions in Europe or the U.S.
  • 8-10 years of relevant working experience in finance.
  • Knowledgeable in IFRS and/or GAAP.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems; SAP expertise required.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
