Job Description

  • Analyze fund performance monthly and monitor relevant market activity.
  • Develop expertise in equities, bonds, swaps, options, FX, mortgages, financing, and futures.
  • Apply accounting standards related to investment management.
  • Review and process investor transactions in compliance with procedures and client documentation.
  • Accurately record investor activity into internal systems.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory changes affecting investor reporting.
  • Review and price portfolios following fund and firm pricing policies.
  • Reconcile positions and securities with broker statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Establish and improve operational processes, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
  • Perform daily and monthly audits of processes and deliver reports as required.
  • Prepare and review GAAP financial statements.
  • Calculate and review partner allocations, management fees, and performance fees.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • 3-5 years of fund accounting experience, ideally within fund administration.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP financial statement preparation and review.
  • Knowledge of partner allocations and fee calculations.
  • Familiarity with annual audit processes and testing.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures accurately.
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
