Job Description for the Fund Accounting Manager

  • Oversee daily NAV preparation, review timelines, and productivity metrics.
  • Assess workloads and queues to identify risks and operational issues.
  • Collaborate with Senior Fund Accountants to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
  • Work with VP NAV Operations on fund assignment and capacity planning.
  • Review complex or premium-tier NAV calculations based on Conductor scheduling.
  • Respond to operational requests via email, Mosaic, phone, or Teams.
  • Conduct daily check-ins and weekly 1:1s for coaching and performance discussions.
  • Coordinate with HR on employee concerns, development plans, and staffing considerations.
  • Act as the second escalation point for fund accounting issues and coordinate with the Technical Manager for complex matters.
  • Identify recurring NAV issues and drive resolution improvements.

The Successful Applicant

Successful Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in fund accounting and NAV review.
  • Proven team leadership and people management background.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage escalations and resolve complex NAV issues.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Comfortable working mid shift and hybrid (3x/week onsite in Taguig).
  • Experience coordinating with technical teams for process improvements.
