About Our Client

The client is a growing boutique financial services firm growing a high-performing team based in the Philippines.

Job Description

  • Perform daily fund reconciliation, investigating, and resolving breaks to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
  • Manage fund operations, including trade settlements, cash management, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve reconciliation processes.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor fund activity and address any operational issues as they arise.
  • Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Establish and implement efficient and organized reconciliation processes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA, CFA, and other certifications are a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in fund reconciliations, with supplementary experience in fund operations and project management in a multinational financial services firm.
  • Experienced in managing complex investment types.
  • Proficiency in Excel and different fund reconciliation tools.
  • Exhibits initiative, proactiveness, and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong logical and analytical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with global stakeholders.
  • Amenable to working as an individual contributor, with opportunity to lead a team in the future
  • Amenable to work from 4pm-1am Philippine time on a fully remote setup.
