Job Description

  • Oversee end-to-end daily operations, ensuring alignment with global standards and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the business and expand into new markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, partners, and customers.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, P&L reporting, and approval of major expenditures.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and industry-specific requirements.
  • Lead recruitment, performance management, and team development initiatives.
  • Act as the escalation point for operational issues and implement corrective measures when needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful General Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in general management or senior leadership roles, ideally within logistics, freight forwarding, or shared services.
  • Strong background in operations, financial oversight, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex business environments and drive results under pressure.
