They are now looking for a seasoned general manager to help run the world class conservation programs on the ground in Philippines.Job DescriptionReporting to the Regional Managing Director sitting in Asia, you are effectively the country manager running the business operation in Philippines.Leading a strong team of 40+ staff with support of a number of seasoned functional leaders under your umbrella, you will be overseeing full spectrum of function ranging from program management, government engagement, fund-raising, finance and operation etc. As part of the global leadership team, you will be the core focal point to ensure that the global mission/vision can be well aligned and implemented at local level based on local context while you are expected to leverage on your strong local network, understanding about community and business acumen to scale up the programs in terms of visibility, impact and size.The Successful ApplicantTo qualify, you should be a seasoned leader who has proven track record in leading-the-leaders and is familiar with the culture and market landscape locally in Philippines inside out well. While ideally you should be from another developmental non-profit organisation with international/regional presence in one of the domains in environmental conservation space (climate changes, biodiversity, forest/land protection), candidates from other domains like health-care, economic development in other non-profits or government will also be considered.Alternatively, we will also consider candidates with commercial background (e.g. from management consultancy firms, corporate) who get good appreciation about engaging/giving back to community and solid understanding about how the whole non-profit ecosystem works.What's on OfferIt is an exciting opportunity to lead a big operation in Philippines and be part of global leadership team.
