Job Description

1. Lead the full business function

· Formulate and implement an overall business strategy better than competition.

· Direct the preparation of operating budgets and proposals for capital expenditure and investments in assets and resources to support a competitive business strategy.

2. Embed Organizational Effectiveness and Efficiency

· Oversee, and evaluate execution of policies, processes, and procedures that contribute to the achievement of the overall business plan.

3. Build a Standard of Performance

· Set an approved standard of performance that encourage/motivate employees to meet or go beyond


· Monitor the level of functioning in all areas of administration and operation.

4. Drive Business Growth and Expansion

· Examine the feasibility of an action from a short- and long-term profit perspective.

· Balance between short term operating results and longer-term business positioning, make trade-offs between


5. Develop Talent Management and Culture Building

· Identify, coach, and develop the right talent for senior management and succession pipeline.

· Recruit, and onboard high-performing /values-driven employees to achieve sales, profitability, market-share, and business plan objectives.

The Successful Applicant

Education Background · Must have a master's degree in Marketing, Business Management, Entrepreneurial Management, Management Engineering, or any other related field. · The equivalent of this in work experience (ie. Business Unit Management or Strategic Operations) is also acceptable for the position.

Years of Experience 15 years + of proven experience in business (sales and marketing) and people management or a similar role.

Industry Experience Relevant Pharmaceutical and Consumer Business experience within a fast-paced and dynamic multinational / local Pharma or FMCG environment.

Knowledge · Understand the business model (local and global), service profit chain & stakeholder map, etc.; · Identify, coach, and develop the right leadership talent. · Communicate powerfully & convincingly using 'omni- functional' language
