Job Description

  • Head of Category (Food) is responsible for defining the category shopper segmentation and driving category growth through tactics based on consumer, shopper and customer understanding
  • Knowing and understanding the customers deeply and be able to develop new customer insights
  • Developing the business model, priority channels, category strategy, definition and growth drivers.
  • Observing the current trends, what competitors are doing, what customers are looking for, and taking actions to drive the growth.

The Successful Applicant

  • Ideal candidate should have at least 8+ years of sales & marketing experience from a large consumer goods business
  • Well-versed in category development, shopper & customer marketing strategies and activations
  • P&L management experience
  • Excellent leadership credentials- has managed direct reports both locally and globally
