The Division Head is responsible for ensuring the unit operates effectively and efficiently by planning, directing, and executing marketing strategies to achieve profit and business objectives. The role also involves building and sustaining strong, mutually beneficial relationships with clients by delivering a range of services such as corporate finance, investment banking, cash management, trade services, and structured finance.

Job Description

  • Lead the Commercial Banking Division, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage and mentor a team of professionals in the sales department.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the industry.
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations relevant to commercial banking.
  • Collaborate with other divisions to enhance cross-selling opportunities.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head, Commercial Banking Division should have:

  • A strong background in commercial banking, particularly in sales leadership roles (account management & credit management).
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Excellent skills in building and managing client relationships.
  • Coach and mentor Relationship Managers to become the next potential leaders in Commercial Banking.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations in the Philippines.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • A degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
