This role, based in Makati, partners closely with senior leadership and regulators to ensure regulatory excellence, integrity, and risk mitigation.

Job Description

As Head of Compliance, you will:

  • Lead enterprise regulatory compliance management, ensuring adherence to BSP, SEC, NPC, AMLC, and related frameworks
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance, corporate governance, and data privacy programmes
  • Serve as primary liaison during regulatory examinations, audits, and assessments
  • Oversee compliance testing, member reviews, and issue resolution
  • Drive organisation-wide compliance training, advisory, and awareness programmes
  • Support and strengthen corporate governance frameworks, board practices, and reporting
  • Provide leadership and direction as Compliance Department Head, managing and developing the compliance team

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Compliance should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Business, Management, IT, or Law (JD/LLB)
  • 10+ years' experience in compliance, regulatory assurance, internal/external audit, or risk management within financial services
  • Strong hands-on experience dealing with BSP and other regulatory bodies
  • Holder of at least one professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CAMS, or Lawyer
  • Deep understanding of financial services regulations, governance, AML/CTPF, and data privacy
  • Proven leadership capability with strong ethical judgement and stakeholder management skills
