Job Description



  • Lead the credit risk and collections strategy, overseeing end-to-end lending operations for consumer and SME portfolios across Southeast Asia.


  • Balance business growth, operational efficiency, and responsible lending while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong governance.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, analytics, operations, legal, finance) to design and execute risk-informed strategies.



The Successful Applicant



  • Bachelor's or Master's in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.


  • 8-15+ years of leadership experience in credit risk, collections, or credit policy.


  • Deep understanding of the full credit and collections lifecycle for consumer and SME lending.


  • Advanced analytics expertise, including SQL, R/Python/SAS, and data visualization tools (PowerBI/Tableau).


  • Proven ability to build credit/collections scorecards, segmentation strategies, and predictive models.


  • Experience setting up and managing credit governance frameworks, KPIs, NPLs, and write-offs.


  • Strong knowledge of debt-collection laws, AML/KYC standards, and fair-lending compliance.


  • Experienced in regulatory engagement, audits, and reporting.


  • Track record of leading and developing high-performing teams (5+ direct reports).


  • Effective collaborator with product, analytics, operations, legal, and finance teams.


  • Skilled at designing risk-informed pricing, underwriting, and customer-centric collections strategies.
