Engineering Vision, Architecture Governance & Technical Strategy

• Define and communicate a clear engineering vision and tech roadmap aligned with business goals, in partnership with the CTOO.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to foster innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
• Guide and review solution, data, and ML architectures across platforms like AWS, Azure, and Databricks.
• Maintain reference architectures and enforce principles for cost-efficiency, security, and reliability.

Product Roadmap Co-ownership

• Convert product strategy into actionable engineering plans, including epics, milestones, and resource planning.
• Balance feature development, technical debt, and infrastructure needs while making informed build-vs-buy decisions.

Agile Engineering Excellence & Continuous Improvement

• Embed agile practices (Scrum/Kanban), CI/CD, DevSecOps, and MLOps, using DORA and Accelerate metrics.
• Implement SRE practices and incident response protocols.
• Continuously improve engineering tools, processes, and developer experience.

Talent, Capacity & Budget Management

• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of 20+ engineers, with structured career paths and training programs.
• Manage engineering resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure efficient delivery.
• Oversee OPEX and recommend CAPEX investments in tools and cloud infrastructure.

Governance, Security & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, DPA, and SOC 2 through proactive security and privacy practices.
• Promote data governance, lineage, and quality in collaboration with data teams.

Stakeholder & Client Engagement

• Represent engineering in client engagements, demos, audits, and investor meetings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and GTM teams for seamless delivery.
