The Head of Finance will spearhead the entire finance organisation - overseeing Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Audit, and Governance. This role owns the full country P&L and acts as a strategic partner to senior leaders, driving sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Job Description

As Head of Finance, you will:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal financial requirements.
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to senior management.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and financial institutions.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team to achieve performance goals.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard the company's assets.
  • Drive cost efficiency and optimise the company's financial performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Finance should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CFA is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to analyse financial data and make strategic decisions.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is highly advantageous.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally within fintech, financial services, or regulated environments
