The Head of HR will provide strategic leadership in developing and executing human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and direction of the organization. They will lead the team in fostering a positive work environment that promotes high performance and retains talent.

Job Description

  • Design and implement comprehensive strategic HR plans to drive culture and organization changes.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the human resources management team.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the organization.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Support business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Head of HR' should have:

  • Proven working experience in HR.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field.
