Job Description

The Head of Key Accounts is expected to do the ff:

  • Manages and develops close relationships with key customers and other stakeholders (deliverable: Stakeholder mappings)
  • Manages and develops account plans (covering opportunities, campaigns and country strategies, Sales Planning and Forecasting) based on country, customer, portfolio and competitor knowledge (deliverable: Account Plan)
  • Is responsible to build and maintain effective internal collaborations (e.g., with Programme Line teams) as well as external collaborations (eg; with local partners)
  • Is responsible to identify and develop business opportunities to campaign decision level (Maturity Gate 1) by developing high level solutions concepts which can then be further developed by Programme Line and Business Growth specialists; when appropriate supports Business campaign teams
  • Is responsible for an up to date and robust picture of short & mid-term business potential (deliverable: CRM inputs)
  • Is responsible for proposing Order Intake goals based on market & customer needs - for alignment & validation with Programme Lines following the account plan
  • Is accountable to provide a strategic vision on markets in key areas and drives the country strategy implementation

The Successful Applicant

The Successful candidate has the ff:

  • Former Air Force or DND with Rank of Colonel or LTC.
  • Space sector related.
  • High education with preference in engineering degree.
  • Has knowledge in governmental processes (procurement/ sales).
  • Has 3-5 years of sales experience within the aviation industry or alike
  • Very much familiar within the aviation/aerospace industry.
  • Strong government relations
