Job Description

  • Oversee all legal matters and provide strategic advice on regulatory compliance in the energy and natural resources sector.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to safeguard the company's interests.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations relevant to the company's operations.
  • Manage relationships with external legal advisors and stakeholders as required.
  • Lead and mentor the legal team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Provide legal guidance on corporate governance, risk management, and policy development.
  • Support the management team in decision-making by offering sound legal advice.
  • Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes impacting the energy and natural resources industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Legal should have:

  • A degree in Law and admission to a recognized legal bar or equivalent qualification.
  • Expertise in British and Thai Law.
  • Proven expertise in corporate law, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of the energy and natural resources industry and relevant legal frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
