Job Description

  • Strategic Leadership: Direct the IT testing department with a focus on aligning strategies with business goals and industry standards.
  • Team Management: Guide and support teams of testers and quality assurance professionals, promoting a collaborative, innovative, and high-quality work environment.
  • Test Strategy Development: Establish and enforce detailed test strategies and methodologies to ensure complete test coverage, risk mitigation, and ongoing enhancements.
  • Testing Oversight: Manage the planning, design, and execution of testing activities for projects, ensuring they stay on track with schedules and budgets.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project stakeholders to provide consistent updates on testing progress, challenges, and resolutions.



The Successful Applicant

  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in guiding, mentoring, and developing team members to achieve shared goals.
  • Technical Skills: Broad expertise in managing test delivery, processes, and automation, with hands-on experience in various testing methods, frameworks, and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and HP ALM.
  • Testing Proficiency: Deep knowledge of testing processes and methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps, with practical skills in test automation and related tools.
  • DevOps and Tools: Experienced in integrating DevOps tools with test automation, alongside strong proficiency in MS Office, project management, and managing both stakeholders and vendors.
  • Governance and Influence: Adept at applying comprehensive governance to testing methodologies, engaging cross-functional teams, and influencing stakeholders across various projects and departments.
  • Analytical Expertise: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of assessing complex scenarios and making sound decisions under pressure.
