Job Description

1. Sales Strategy Development

  • Develop and implement the overall sales strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and market dynamics
  • Identify growth opportunities and strategic initiatives to expand market share and revenue

2. Sales Team Leadership

  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the sales team, driving a high-performance culture and fostering professional growth
  • Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics, and conduct regular performance reviews

3. Revenue Generation

  • Drive revenue growth by effectively managing sales pipelines, forecasts, and sales activities
  • Monitor sales performance and take proactive measures to ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded

4. Market Analysis and Competitor Insights

  • Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities
  • Use market insights to identify business opportunities and improve the company's competitive positioning

5. Sales Process Optimization

  • Continuously review and enhance the sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Implement best practices to drive consistency and streamline workflows

6. Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve sales targets
  • Monitor expenses and maintain cost control measures

7. Sales Reporting and Analysis

  • Generate regular sales reports, performance analysis, and forecasts for presentation to senior management
  • Use data-driven insights to inform business decisions

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, Master's degree is a plus
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in sales leadership, preferably in the telco and consumer goods industry
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Sound business acumen with the ability to analyze market trends and make strategic decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results
