Job Description

Key Responsibilities for the Head of Sales include:

  • Leading and managing the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth
  • Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities and potential clients
  • Understanding and analyzing market trends and customer needs
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Providing coaching and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and abilities
  • Conducting regular performance evaluations and implementing corrective measures as needed
  • Developing and managing the sales budget
  • Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and meet company objectives
  • Providing regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management
  • Maintaining knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and regulatory developments.

The Successful Applicant

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Master's degree in Commercial Business and Engineering (if applicable)



International Mindset (Experience):

  • Study abroad or work on overseas short-term assignment (preferred); and/or
  • Work on project outside home country; and/or
  • MNC experience



Personality/Behavior:

  • Proactive, self-motivated, take initiative and independent
  • Persistent even when facing barriers
  • Hands-on approach
  • High self-awareness and sensitive to other's needs
